Since then it has evolved into the incredible event that it is today, attracting participants and spectators from all over the country, including Canada, Brazil and Mexico. The beautiful surroundings and amazing climate of the San Francisco peninsula is an ideal location to hold such a prestigious event. 2018 Brings the most exciting year yet! Not only is it the 19th anniversary, the prize money has been increased to over $350,000!
This year's event is July 23rd - 29th and there is no shortage of things to do while attending the Reining by the Bay, whether it's watching world class horses compete for cash and prizes or taking in the sites of the incredible San Francisco bay area. The Reining by the Bay schedule allows exhibitors and trainers time to venture out and do things they don’t have the luxury of doing at other events.
