But it is in thoroughbred racing where her heart lies. She grew up on the backside at Ak-Sar-Ben, in Omaha, NE. Her father, the late Don Lee, is in the Nebraska Racing Hall of Fame as a turf writer. Her brother, Denny Lee, is Chairman of the Nebraska State Racing Commission. She is the proud owner of a retired racehorse, Little Joe Lewis.
