An Evening with Photographer Scott Trees

An Evening with Scott Trees

You may not recognize his name — Scott Trees — but you'll surely recognize his breathtaking images of horses. His international client list reads like a “who’s who” of distinguished owners, breeders and trainers throughout the world, and the list of awards, recognitions, and publications that have published his work is long. Scott is known for his ability to connect with his photo subjects on an emotional level, and to bring out the essence of the individual, whether horse or person.

Artist-photographer, Scott grew up in a “horsey” family, learning to ride and compete on world champion Saddlebreds, and later Arabians. At college, he studied behavioral psychology with an emphasis on nonverbal communication. That — combined with his love of travel — allowed him to blend into various cultures as he photographed horses all around the world.

Photographers and horse lovers are invited to a special evening with Scott Trees, April 16, from 7:30-9 pm, at the USHJA building at the Kentucky Horse Park. Scott will present a dramatic visual program and lecture — Because of Horses— in which he shares stories from his travels and how the marvelous horses he’s worked with have influenced his approach to life.

This evening is brought to you free of charge courtesy of Maureen Gallatin’s Horses on a Mission, as part of the “Making a Difference” program, the Equine Photographers Network, and the venue was provided by the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA).

The evening is free, but seating is limited, so we request you RSVP maureen@horsesonamission.com

Scott is also included on EIE's PHOTGRAPHY page here! equineinfoexchange.com/index.php/recreat.../artwork/photography
