UNBRANDED, the Movie - it's All About the Mustangs

Since 1941, when world-famous horseman Egon Merz hung his hat at Escondido Beach, Malibu has attracted equestrians. Today horsey types still enjoy trail rides, hunting with hounds, and superb training facilities. Before countless other entertainers followed, Elizabeth Taylor trained in Malibu for National Velvet.

How fitting a venue then is Malibu, at the gorgeous Starfield Farms, for an exclusive screening of UNBRANDED. The film was honored to receive the Audience Award at the Telluride Mountainfilm festival. The film is brilliant on many levels - from the cinematography to the light it shines on the plight of wild horses. No spoilers here -this is a must see film, whether you are a mustang advocate, rancher, cowboy, hippie, surfer, or snowboarder. Your funny bone and wanderlust will both be tickled and prodded.

When: November 15 4PM - eat and greet fellow equestrians, animal lovers, Malibu-Ites 5PM screening under the stars.
