Assistant Production Designer

June 1, 2022 - Smarty Creative Studio is seeking a full-time Assistant Production Designer to join our growing team. As the Assistant Production Designer, you will work closely with our Creative Director to translate marketing and business objectives into creative design solutions.
The ideal candidate has a passion for learning, stays up to date on design trends, enjoys brainstorming, works well with a team, and able to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements:

Passion for Design and Creativity!
Degree in graphic design, or related field [Associates or Bachelors]
Proven knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign [additional experience in After Effects, Lightroom, or other apps is a PLUS]
Experience in Microsoft Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
1-2 years of design experience [can be freelance and/or in house designer]
Have a digital portfolio of your work [please attach work or have link on resume]
Proficiency in Mac platform
Strong time management & organization skills
Understands print & digital file processes

Responsibilities:

Work in existing design templates in Adobe CC and Microsoft applications to edit or design from
Create master pages and templates for the team to edit or work from
Create concepts & designs for client-based projects
Create assets for digital and print use
Communicate and contribute honest creative feedback
Able to take creative feedback on design work & make design changes that meet the Creative Studio standards and client needs
Proof self & other designer work for digital, and/or print release
Create different file formats for production and client use
Photo researching and editing
Submit work to Creative Director to obtain approval of concepts from Marketing Directors or Clients
