4 years 7 months ago #1282 by Kate
Oct 1, 2019 - Denver-Eleven individuals have been awarded scholarships to attend the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.) Conference and Annual Meeting in the association's headquarter city, Denver, CO.

The event, presented by title sponsor Purina, will be November 8-10 and will feature keynote luncheon speaker Jaycee Dugard, educational sessions led by industry experts, discussion forums and networking opportunities and the much anticipated awards luncheon on Saturday.

PATH Intl. received nearly 150 applications. The 11 PATH Intl. Region Representatives were blind judges and chose the winners. Each application was scored by two judges, and region representatives did not score applications of those in their own region. Seven individuals received the general scholarship and four individuals received the Marjorie V. Kittredge Equine-Facilitated Psychotherapy and Learning (EFP/L) Scholarship. All winners must be PATH Intl. members, and the winner of the Marjorie V. Kittredge award must also be an equine-facilitated psychotherapy or equine-assisted learning professional or studying to become one. Scholarships cover the cost of the conference registration of $540. The conference, including continuing education credits, is valued at more than $1,500.

Congratulations to our 2019 PATH Intl. Conference scholarship winners!
