The story of a young trainer who takes a job working for the man who murdered his father to exact revenge. A mutual love of horses forces a bond between the two men as they train a fast quarter horse named Blue Chip. When a young man agrees to race a wonderful quarter horse, a crooked, wife abusing, gambler has plans to sabotage the contest.
