Under represented and overlooked members of the equestrian community, plus size riders say they are challenged with finding apparel which fits and is flattering to a curvy figure. Giving a voice to the Plus Sized rider, EquineInfoExchange.com is conducting a poll through December 17th. Annual U.S. sales of women's plus-size apparel, often defined as a "Misses" size 14 and higher, rose by 17 percent to $20.4 billion in 2016 and the number of teenagers buying plus-size apparel has nearly doubled since 2012!
Poll results will be published and communicated to apparel manufacturers and retail outlets to raise awareness of the needs of the plus sizes rider. By sharing this information, our goal is to better service the Plus Sized rider when shopping for fashionable and functional riding apparel.
