Welcome to Laurels Forge Farm

Laurels Forge Farm is a 68 acre tract under easement with the Brandywine Conservancy. Formerly part of the King Ranch, it is adjacent to the 700 acre Laurels Nature Preserve and is located along the banks of the Buck and Doe Run. It is surrounded by some 10,000 acres of deed restricted farmland. Laurels Forge was a 19th century iron rolling mill of historical significance. There are a number of ruins on this property, which was once a busy industrial village. The farm offers 3 horse barns, expansive fields with established turf, a sand ring, a round pen, and a large grass riding square.  A two bedroom apartment and deck overlooking the Buck and Doe River is attached to the main barn on the site of the former Rolling Mill.
