We're so excited for our 2nd stop in our 4 stop program with the "Why is that a 6 and not an 8" test movement clinic review with Kathy Pavlich, USEF "S" judge and Jocelyn Tackitt supplying horses from her full barn of quality performance horses.

- When: Saturday, April 6th, 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM
- What to expect: Kathy has designed a full discussion program specifically geared to spectators. We hope you all bring your questions so we can get some lively discussion going.
Kathy & Jocelyn have a plan for demonstrating key level movements from Training to Fourth Level with multiple level-appropriate demonstration horses. This Sierra NV Chapter activity is open to everyone and FREE to attend! Bring your barn mates! Invite your 4H and USPC friends!

- April 27th-28th Diamonds in the Desert Dressage Show at the RLEC, entries open April 1, close April 15. Entries open at HorseShowOffice.com. Show details can be found at dddressage.org
- April 30th application deadline for the Stacey Berry Memorial Scholarship fund. Details on california-dressage.org. Select scholarships from the dropdown menu. $250 is awarded to an AA SN Chapter member. Individual rider scholarship applicants must be adult amateurs and have competed at Training Level or above. Must have been a Sierra Nevada member for at least one year. One may receive this scholarship AND a competition travel grant the same year. Information is available at https://www.california-dressage.org/forms-scholarships . The winner is selected by the CDS Scholarship Committee. The funds may be used to defer competition expenses or educational clinic expenses.
- May 5th SNC Schooling Show at Pair of Aces Stables, 3400 Holcomb Ranch Lane, Reno. Entries open April 1st on HorseShowOffice.com. Entries close April 30. Prize list and entry forms available on the Show Info page of the website.
- May 10th-12th, 2024 ~ Andre' Ganc Clinic at Broken Bit Stables. Location: Broken Bit Stables Wellington, NV. Contact: Jill Fry at brokenbitranch@earthlink.net.

- June 8th-9th Dressage in the Sierra, Franktown Meadows Equestrian Facility, 4200 Old US Highway 395, Carson City, NV. USEF, USDF, CDS Recognized. Judge: Adrienne Pot "S". Entries open May 1st on HorseShowOffice.com and close June 1st.
- July 20th Cavaletti Clinic with Erika Jansson at Franktown Meadows, $150 per rider, checks payable to SNC-CDS to hold your spot. Remit checks to SNC-CDS PO Box 2637 Carson City, NV 89702. Auditors are free! Thank you Jen Smith for coordinating this clinic and hosting our clinician!
New Dressage Show software for 2024: With the closure of equestrianentries.com, we are transitioning to HorseShowOffice.com. It is an all inclusive site - entries, show operations, results. HorseShowOffice.com hosts many USDF Regional champs including the national USDF championship show.

Chapter meetings are held one evening each month unless otherwise determined by the Board Of Directors. The location of the meetings will be posted to the web site and announced to the group prior to the meetings. Meetings are open to the membership.
