The Augusta Polo Club is home to and proud sponsor of the University of Guelph, Kemptville Campus Men’s and Women’s Intercollegiate Polo Team.  The Kemptville Koyotes are making Canadian history by becoming the first ever Intercollegiate Polo Team.  To date, there are close to 100 intercollegiate and interscholastic teams throughout North America.   The team practices three days a week and have attended/participated in clinics at the Augusta Polo Club, Cornell University and the University of Connecticut to prepare them for competition.  Being in the Northeast Division the team organizes test matches between Harvard University, Vassar, Skidmore, Cornell, UCONN and Yale University.  The test matches are to prepare and qualify the team to compete in the Intercollegiate Championships.

All members are in good standing with Polo Canada, the United States Polo Association and the academic requirements of the University of Guelph, Kemptville Campus. 

Most Intercollegiate polo programs rely on donations and sponsorship.  Being a newly created team we are always looking for sponsors to help keep our year going and plan for the future.  Travel costs, as well as entry/membership fees, equipment, and horses have been our main expenses.
