BATAVIA DOWNS "FURBALL GALA" EVENT RAISES $30,000 FOR CHOSEN EQUINE RESCUE ORGANIZATIONS!
April 13, 2024 - Batavia Downs hosted a Country Western themed gala event named the "Fur Ball". Begin Again Horse Rescue and Whispering River Farm Rescue were chosen as the recipients of the proceeds this year. $30,000 was raised from ticket sales, basket raffles and donations, divided equally between the two organizations. The proceeds will be used for continued capital improvements at both facilities. THANK YOU TO ALL INVOLVED IN THE PLANNING AND EXECUTION OF THIS AWESOME EVENT!
