After 38 years of Dartmoor Driving John Arden has decided it is time for him to retire from the business and just be able to drive for his own pleasure.
Unfortunately we have not been able to pass the business on, as we had hoped; and we are therefore closing Dartmoor Driving. Kivells auctoneers in Exeter will be handling the sale of several of our carriages, harness sets and other driving accoutrements, on Tuesday 12th April at Matford horse sales in Exeter. John and Maggie would like to thank all the very many customers we have had the pleasure of meeting over all these years – many of whom have become good friends. We wish you all many years of fun and achievement with your horses, in which ever activity you partake in.
