Members are welcome and encouraged to come along to our AGM & Prizegiving. If you have any old trophies please return these to the Woodhillsands Office on 14th May 2023.

Come join us and compete at our last show of the season on Mother’s Day. Every mother gets a voucher proudly donated by Hands On Horses who delivers treatments for humans or horses!

ISOBEL WESSELS WORKSHOPS

ESNZ High Performance in conjunction with High Performance Sport NZ are pleased to offer two fantastic opportunities to gain some insight and knowledge from international renowned Dressage High Performance Coach, Judge and rider Isobel Wessels.

SUNDAY 19TH MARCH – Coaching Focus with Isobel Wessels and Kirsten Hellier
This day with be focused on coaching with Isobel evaluating a range of dressage performances at different levels and then assisting the Eventing demonstration riders to identify areas for improvement.
In conjunction with this you will gain a new perspective on coaching from top athletics coach Kirsten Hellier, As a coach of a Gold Medal athlete (Dame Valerie Adams) and HP coach mentor, she will impart her extensive knowledge and experience

Who for: All coaches, athletes, officials, anyone who wants to improve

Dressage NZ plans to host the 2023/24 season FEI Pacific League World Cup Final in November 2023 at the ORO Dressage by the Lake Event in collaboration with the world’s governing body, the Federation Équestre Internationale.

The Pacific League comprises Australia and New Zealand and the winner of the Freestyle secures a place in the FEI World Cup Final being held in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) in April 2024, joining riders from the four different leagues across the world. At the final a maximum of 18 athletes will compete in both the Short Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle to Music

New Zealand last hosted the Pacific League final at Manfeild Park (Feilding) in 2017, when Wendi Williamson and DejaVu MH secured the win and a trip to Omaha USA.

The 2022/23 Pacific League World Cup Final is being hosted by Willinga Park in Australia in late February 2023 but will not be contested by NZL combinations.
