Escobedo Wins Four, Painted Turnpike And Debbie Schauf Enter Hall Of Fame At Remington Park

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–MAY 31, 2024–Jockey Edwin Escobedo won four races on Friday night at Remington Park to make the race for the season’s leading jockey a little tighter going to the final night of the meet on Saturday.

Escobedo scored aboard Chief Iron Eagle ($4.20 to win), an Appaloosa, in race one; Mr Charlie Brown ($6.80) in race three; Hologram ($7.20) in race eight and then Mr Painted Sign ($6.80) in the 10th and final to complete his riding quadruple. The four victories give Escobedo 41 wins for the season, now just two behind leader Roman Cruz (43) going to Champions Night on Saturday.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK– MAY 31, 2024–The fastest qualifier for the Grade 2, $239,050 Heritage Place Derby, Cardiac Cowboy, and the top money earner in the field, Dollar Bill, have been made the top two favorites for the major race Saturday at Remington Park.

Morning-line maker Jerry Shottenkirk has installed Cardiac Cowboy as the 3-1 favorite, just ahead of Dollar Bill at 7-2 odds. Foosea Is Better Than Ever With Victory In Adequan California Final On Sunday

LOS ALAMITOS, CA–MAY 19, 2024–Owned and bred by Dunn Ranch, Foosea scored his third win from his last five starts after a dominant effort in the $33,660 Adequan California Derby Challenge on Sunday at Los Alamitos.
